Track Rental Pricing

Base Cost- $150

We bring the track, set it up, host/MC the race, play music, and occasionally tell dumb jokes.  When the race is over we take it all down and haul it away.  During the race, the computer program tracks everything and gives instant race results with slow motion replay of every heat via projector on a big screen.

Large Groups - $2 per extra racer

The first 15 racers are included in the base price.  In a standard race, each racer will race 12 times.  For very large groups, I offer the option to race 6 times each to reduce the overall cost.  **Banana and Potato derbies will only race 6 times**

Multiple Races - $50 each after first race

A race is defined as all of the heats for the participants in one group.  Two races would be two distinct groups (i.e. Boys & Girls or Cub Scout Rules & Open Class Rules).  Since we are already set up, additional races are offered at a significant discount (still subject to large group add on).

Or pay by the Hour - $160 1st hr $60 each add'l hr

Need me for more than a couple of races?  Or maybe you need races going on all day.  The $160 covers set up and take down as well as the first hour.  After that it’s just $60 per hour to run as many races as you’d like.  *Any event estimated at 2 hours or more will be invoiced as hourly.

Travel Cost - See Chart

Because I will bring the track to you (often many miles) a *travel charge basically reimburses me for the gas and is in addition to the event costs.

Other Rental Options

Lego rental includes 24 bases for building cars, 12 complete sets of wheels, and 10 pounds of random Legos for building.  $40 flat fee per event.

Want to do a Banana or Potato Derby, but don’t want to purchase Wheels and Axels?  You can rent them for $2 per set!

Outdoor Racing - $50 add on
Outdoor racing sounds fun, but weather, sunlight, and debris from even a light breeze make them difficult and require extra maintenance on the track and equipment.  Where possible, please plan on having your race indoors.
Payment
  • Payment is not due until the event is complete
  • There is no deposit required
  • There is no cost for date or time changes
  • There is no cancellation fee
  • Payment can be made by Cash, Check, or Venmo
    • Credit Cards are accepted with a 3% add on

*Chart is based on approximately 50 cents per mile for locations that are within 60 miles.  Travel more than 60 miles may be more.
