Pinewood Derby Race Track
The 6ft drop on this Pinewood Derby Race Track allows gravity to help get the cars really moving. This also increases the odds that all cars will cross the finish line on every single heat of the race.
The digital display at the finish line let’s you know who got which place. In addition, the screen will project the time down to 1/1000th of a second and converts the times to MPH.
Everything fits on the cart. The 5 track pieces go on sliding shelves, while the projector, laptop and even the sound mixer all have their place making it a fully contained system.
6 Lanes
6 lanes of track means more racing and less waiting for your next turn. The sensors in the checkered finish line put the racers in order as they cross the finish line.
Hallway Racing
While a nice big gymnasium is the ideal setting for a Pinewood Derby race, we can set this up pretty much anywhere that you have 40 feet (Best space is a room 50′ by 30′ or bigger)
So Shiny
The wooden track is polished regularly with furniture polish to keep it nice and shiny for your race. You can almost see the ceiling lights in this room as they reflect off the track.
Solenoid Start Gate
Connected to a 12 volt adapter, the 6 pins are all dropped together allowing for an even start to the race. The best part is that the racers get to take turns starting the races!
Foam Padding
These cars are traveling at almost 15 feet per second, so the foam padding coupled with a slight incline at the end of the track helps keep your car in tact (some damage may still occur).
Sliding Shelves
The shelves on the cart slide out allowing for easy loading and unloading of the track pieces. The cart is narrow enough to fit through most regular sized doors.
